The South Charleston Community Center offers various classes to fit your needs.  These classes put emphasis on cardiovascular fitness, strength training, and exercise for the entire body.  All Classes are one hour, you must be 16 years or older to participate.

  • A fitness program inspired by Latin dance and music with both fast and slow rhythms to help sculpt the body with easy-to-follow steps.
  • Principles include interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning.
  • Monday thru Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

Strong by Zumba

  • A fitness program that combines high intensity interval training (HIIT) with the science of Synced Music Motivation.
  • In every class, music and moves sync in a way that pushes you past your perceived limits, to reach your fitness goals faster.
  • Thursday at 6:30 p.m.


  • Combination of yoga and Pilates to help improve flexibility, core strength and balance
  • Helps to relieve stress and relax Classes use floor mats.
  • Bring your own mat. Monday and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.


  • Core muscles of stomach, back, shoulders, buttocks and legs worked
  • Exercises on floor mats. Bring your own mat.
  • Monday and Wednesday at noon
